Apple introduced AirPrint feature in iOS 4 which allowed users to control their printers through WiFi connection. We have seen that lot of Windows users are unable to enable AirPrint feature on Windows.
AirPrint is very cool feature that allow iOS device owners to print photos or documents via WiFi on printers connected to Windows or Mac.
How to Enable AirPrint Feature on Windows?
In order to enable the AirPrint on Windows 8/7/Vista/XP, you need to follow few steps. Before following the guide, just have a look at few pre-requirements.
- First of all download and install the latest version of iTunes.
- Now share the printer connected to your Windows computer.
- Make sure you are using the computer as administrator users and not guest. You should have administrative privileges.
- Last but not least, make sure your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch and the computer to which printer is attached are connected to same WiFi connection.
Once done with pre-requirements, you can proceed with steps to enable AirPrint feature on Windows.
First of all download the AirPrint utility for Windows from here. When the downloading or AirPrint utility is completed, place it on your desktop.
Now right click on setup file and select Run as administrator. Setup window will open after that. Follow on screen instructions to start installation of AirPrint utility.
Once installation is completed, restart your computer. After that you would be able to enjoy AirPrint feature on your Windows computer.
